Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Satsang app and related services (the "Service"), operated by us ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. The Service

Satsang provides live and recorded yoga, breathwork, and meditation sessions, a daily practice tracker, and a community circle for practitioners. Some features require a paid subscription.

3. Subscriptions & Billing

We currently offer a Monthly plan (₹499/month) and a Yearly plan (₹2,999/year). Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period until cancelled.

On Android and the web, billing is handled by Dodo Payments and renews via your saved payment method (UPI autopay). On iOS, billing is handled entirely by Apple through your App Store account — we never see or store your payment details, and Apple's own subscription terms also apply.

Prices may vary slightly by platform (e.g. due to Apple's pricing tiers) and may change with reasonable advance notice. Continuing to use the Service after a price change takes effect means you accept the new price.

4. Free Trials

If a free trial is offered at signup, its exact length and terms will be shown to you before you start it. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will begin automatically and your payment method will be charged.

5. Cancellation & Refunds

On Android and the web, you can cancel anytime by messaging us on WhatsApp. On iOS, subscriptions must be cancelled through your Apple ID subscription settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or the App Store app) — Apple requires this and we have no ability to cancel an App Store subscription on your behalf.

Either way, cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period and you'll retain access until then. We generally don't offer refunds for the unused portion of a billing period you've already paid for, except where required by applicable law. For iOS purchases, refund requests are handled directly by Apple.

6. Your Account

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Please provide accurate information when signing up.

7. Acceptable Use

Don't use the Service for anything illegal, don't attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape the app, and please be respectful of other members in the community circle — we may remove content or suspend accounts that violate this.

8. Content & Intellectual Property

Sessions, recordings, and app content are owned by us or our instructors/licensors, and are for your personal, non-commercial use only. Content you post in the community circle remains yours, but you grant us a license to display it within the Service.

9. Health & Safety Disclaimer

Satsang's content is for general wellness purposes and is not medical advice. Consult a physician before starting any new exercise, breathwork, or meditation practice, especially if you have a pre-existing health condition. Practice at your own pace and stop if you feel discomfort or pain.

10. Third-Party Services

We use third-party providers to operate the Service, including payment processing (Dodo Payments on Android/web; Apple's App Store, managed through RevenueCat, on iOS), sign-in (Google, Apple), and live sessions (Zoom, YouTube). Your use of those integrations is also subject to their own terms.

11. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from your Profile. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above, and continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
