Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your Satsang account and all data associated with it at any time. There are two ways to do this, whether or not you currently have the app installed.

Option 1 — Delete instantly in the app

  1. Open Satsang and go to Profile.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
  3. Type DELETE to confirm, then tap Permanently delete my account.

This takes effect immediately — no waiting period.

Option 2 — Request deletion without the app

If you no longer have the app installed, email us from the address or phone number associated with your account and we'll process your deletion request within 30 days.

What gets deleted

  • Your profile — name, phone number, bio, location, avatar photo
  • Your practice history, streaks, and task/reflection entries
  • Your community posts, comments, reactions, and live-session chat messages
  • Your subscription and payment records — any active subscription with Dodo Payments is also cancelled
  • Your notification token and account credentials

What isn't deleted

Aggregated or anonymized records that no longer identify you (e.g. anonymous usage counts) may be retained. We don't currently keep any such records beyond what's described above.
